Hide real name & email address on Windows 11/10 Lock Screen
Using Group Policy setting
Run gpedit.msc and navigate to the following setting: Double-click on Interactive logon: Do not display last user name settings and select Enable. Click Apply and exit.
Using Registry Editor
Run regedit and navigate to the following registry key: In the right pane, double-click on dontdisplaylastusername and change its value from 0 to 1 as shown below.
You will also see a DontDisplayLockedUserId key there. The possible values for DontDisplayLockedUserID are:
1 : Show the locked user display name and the user ID2 : Show the locked user display name only3 : Do not display the locked user information
Select 2 or 3 depending on your preference, save the settings and exit the Registry Editor. Windows 11/10 will now hide your name and email address on the Lock Screen.
