Change paper size in Microsoft Word

A4 is a paper size that is used for a wide range of documents, including magazines, catalogs, letters, and forms. However, depending on your printing requirements, you can dictate the use of certain sizes of paper by: Microsoft Word virtually places little limitations on page size or orientation.

1] Changing the default paper size in Word

Launch Microsoft Word application.

Go to ‘Layout’ tab, click drop-down menu of ‘Size’ and select ‘More Paper Sizes’.

Then, in the ‘Page Setup’ dialog box that appears, choose ‘Paper’ and then click the drop-down arrow adjacent to ‘Paper Size’. Here, select the paper size you want to make the default for all future documents. At the bottom of the dialog box, hit ‘Set As Default’ button When prompted with a message, click ‘Yes’. Click ‘OK’ to close the Page Setup dialog box.

2] Change the Paper Size of a Word document

This method is useful in cases where you would like to change the paper size of a single Microsoft document and not change the default size. Open Microsoft Word application if you are interested in changing the paper size of a Word file. Then, switch to the ‘Layout’ tab appearing in the Ribbon menu.

Under the ‘Page Setup’ section of the ‘Layout’ tab, click ‘Size’. When a drop-down menu appears, you will see an exhaustive list of paper sizes. Simply select an option from this list to change the paper size of the entire document. That’s all to it! I hope it helps!
