Right-click in a cell and select Insert Comment:

Enter the text you want to be displayed in the comment. Right-click on the edge of the comment box to display the context menu and then select Format Comment:you need to place your cursor on the highlighted edge of an editable comment before right clicking to launch the context menu. If your cursor is on the text portion of the comment, the context menu will operate in a different manner. Go to the Colors and Lines tab, expand the Color drop-down list and select Fill Effects.

In the window that opens select the Picture tab and then click Select Picture.

Browse for the image file of your selection and then click on Ok. Later, click on the comment box to display the re-sizing handles. From there you can adjust the size of the comment box. That’s it! When an inserted picture is selected in the worksheet, Excel adds the Pictures Tools contextual tab to the Ribbon with its sole Format tab. The Format tab is divided into following 4 groups:

  1. Adjust2. Picture Styles3. Arrange4. Size. Also, you can find a Reset option that allows you to remove all formatting changes made and return the picture to the state it was in when you originally inserted it into the worksheet. Trust this works for you.
